Deep Dive on WHO's New Routine Health Information System Strategy: The Role of Strong Health Information System Governance and Robust RHIS Data Standards

The World Health Organization’s (WHO) Global Strategy for Optimizing Routine Health Information Systems (RHIS) in Countries is designed to help governments optimize their routine health information systems to strengthen primary health care and increase universal health coverage. CHISU hosted a webinar in September 2024 with WHO to provide an overview of the new strategy to help countries understand what it means for them.

Join us for the second installment in this webinar series on January 30, 2025 from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. EDT. The webinar will focus on Objective 1: Strengthen governance and partnership structures for RHIS and Objective 2: Strengthen standards for RHIS data including data quality and data management. RHIS experts will unpack these two objectives and the implications for governments and partners working to strengthen HIS.
