Mali recently developed its first national data quality assurance (DQA) plan, which will help improve data quality issues around malaria and other health issues. CHISU supported this initiative, which included consultations with various HIS stakeholders. Officials representing multiple institutions—from the National Institute for Public Health to the National Agency for Telehealth and Medical Informatics and the Health Information Systems Program for West and Central Africa—created and discussed the plan at a workshop in October and shared it for validation from critical stakeholders in the country. CHISU also began engaging with stakeholders to improve their One Health-related data.
