CHISU Supports Workshop for Terminology Standards Used in SATUSEHAT

In January 2024, CHISU collaborated with the Ministry of Health’s Center for Data and Information Technology (Pusdatin) to organize a monitoring and evaluation workshop on terminology standards used by the SATUSEHAT platform. Representatives from hospitals and health associations attended the workshop, which aimed to assess the current status of terminology standards implementation in electronic medical records (EMR) at the facility level and with SATUSEHAT. The workshop also analyzed claim and billing data to answer quality of care and health indicators through interoperability. Additionally, the workshop served as a forum to define challenges and gather participants’ feedback on standards implementation. The discussion revealed challenges that some health facilities face in implementing the terminology standards, but there was consensus about their importance, as they allow for easy improvement to health information systems functionality.
