Using the HPHC Tool in LMICs

CHISU launched its webinar series "Learnings from Health System Assessments Using the High Performing Health Care Tool in LMICs" with the first webinar of the series, "Commonalities and Differences in Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Philippines HPHC Tool Health System Assessments," on Thursday, March 30, 2023, 8-9:30 AM EDT, to hear about the countries’ experiences implementing the HPHC Tool.

Please visit https://hphctool.org for more information on the tool and country assessment data.

A paper on USAID’s High Performing Health Care (HPHC) tool, “Reliability and validity of an innovative high performing healthcare system assessment tool,” has been published in the Journal of BMC Health Services Research. The HPHC tool’s innovative methodology uses an internet survey for measuring health system performance. Real time data collection, analysis, and visualization provide timely decision-making for policy development, adaptive management, and tracking health system performance over time.
