Do you have ideas on how to improve digital health investments to maximize their impact? Would you like the teams evaluating your digital health intervention proposal to evaluate your submission based on current best practices? If so, please join us to share your ideas and expertise on how we can update the Digital Health Investment Review Tool (DHIRT).
Using the Principles for Digital Development (PDD) and the Principles for Donor Alignment in Digital Health as a guide, the DHIRT was designed to be used in evaluating potential digital health investments, scoring proposals, and assessing existing digital tools to identify areas for improvement. The Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) and the broader digital for development community have updated the PDD this year and the landscape of digital tools has become considerably more complex since the tool’s design, so DHIRT needs to be updated accordingly.
USAID’s Country Health Information Systems and Data Use (CHISU) program is leading the update of this tool to take this into consideration and would like your input on what areas the tool needs to add and where we need to update the tool to align with the current digital health landscape.
We will be holding two sessions to solicit initial feedback to inform this revision process on November 7, 2024. You can join us at 04:00 EST/09:00 GMT or at 08:00 EST/13:00 GMT.
